Welcome to our online store.

Here we offer downloads of our weekend Feldenkrais workshops through our secure server. Our workshops are an enjoyable way to steep yourself in the experience of your own embodied wisdom, facilitated through 3 enjoyable Awareness Through Movement Lessons. Each class focuses on a unique subject which students are allowed not only to think about, but to experience directly through their own embodiment. These workshops are not progressive, but each stand independently. These classes are designed for students with various levels of movement experience - from new beginners to long time movers; however these group classes are not recommended for those in the acute phase of an injury.

Each lesson is $7 so most of  the workshops come out to be $21. The lessons are downloaded in MP3 format to a computer or ipod, and then can burned to a cd, or played in MP3 form. We ask that you respect copyright and only burn cds for your own use.

Dynamic Transitions- The Wisdom of the Spiral In 3 dynamic Awareness Through Movement ® lessons we  explore ways of transitioning - from the floor to sitting, from sitting to standing, and more - using the "wisdom of the spiral." Spiral-patterned movements can provide  graceful, efficient and spontaneous ways to move that you may have never considered before. This is a delightful workshop

A Healthy TMJ    As you read this, feel into the sensations around your jaw: does it feel relaxed and at ease? Are your teeth clenching? Does your jaw cooperate with gravity? Over 10 million Americans experience migraines, teeth grinding, or chronic pain associated with TMJ dysfunction. Surrounded by some of the strongest muscles in our body, the tempero-mandibular joint is often a storehouse for stress in our lives. In this workshop we will explore ways to discover more ease in the jaw, recognizing how the function of one's TMJ is interdependent with the functioning of the neck, shoulders, eyes, and probably most importantly - our attention.

Enjoyable Use of The Arms  For many of us, the way we use our arms  in the activities of life generates tension which can show up in a variety of ways: from carpel tunnel syndrome to migraines, from shoulder pain to just an overall lack of freedom and ease in movement. In this workshop we explore how the arms can move as an expression of the whole self, involving all of you in a relaxed enjoyable way. Whether it is typing at a computer, performing a surgery or holding the wheel as you drive, there is always a way to find more ease and less effort in the arms.

Your Ribs Are Not A Cage Often our language can have an impact on our self image. Do your ribs feel like a cage? Solid? Protective? Immovable? In this workshop we explore the potential to experience a "rib accordion" or "rib slinky" discovering the great potential we have for movement  and mobilization in the torso, and how that freedom of movement can bring about an increase of ease and pleasure in our breathing, our neck, our low back- our whole self.

Liberate Your Hips Ours is not the land of the free hips-just look at what a stir Elvis caused by allowing his pelvis to move a bit...With all of the time we spend in chairs, and the many body image issues we have culturally around the pelvis, for many of us this area is not characterized by ease and freedom. In this workshop we explore the experiential anatomy of the hip joints, learning how to inhabit our hips with awareness and ease. Discover how the freedom of your hips is connected to your jaw, your belly, your breath, your attention. Where do the hip joints stop and the rest of you begin?
